On the 30th November 2013, the Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Forfarshire Brother Sandy Christie, invested Brother Syd Rollo, Past Master of Lodge Albert Lochee 448, with his jewel as Honorary Grand Senior Deacon.

Syd has been Lodge Albert Secretary for 28 years and has given unfailing service to the Lodge during that time. Brother Rollo served as Master of the Lodge from 1980 - 1982

Syd also stepped into the breech and assumed the role of Provincial Grand Secretary following the sad death of Brother Albert Mitchell. He also gave great service to the Province for 3 years.

Being Honoured by the Grand Lodge of Scotland as Honorary Grand Senior Deacon came as a big surprise to Syd, but is well deserved!
